INTRUDER 1500 LIGHT BAR COVER

Did you know that Suzuki makes an original equipment cover that will fit right over the original equipment light bar? (hide those ugly wires going to the headlight) And you might pick it up for free!!

Suzuki sells the 1500 LC with this setup which holds the signal lights. It is removed when the light bar is added. As far as I can tell once it is removed it's a throw away part.

I saw this modification on another 1500. Went back to the dealer told them what I wanted, got the old cover for free.

This is the original cover that is removed to allow the Light Bar to be assembled on the 1500

Take the cover grind or file out the sides. This allows it to fit over the Light Bar.

Drill and tap some spacers, assemble the cover on the Light Bar and tack weld the spacers in position. I drilled and tapped to holes for a 1/4 inch bolt. Remember to mark the wires.

As you can see this cover finishes of the light bar nicely. Not bad eh?
